Quick Facts
We call the New England South Coast home. Allied Waste Services has been a part of Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island since 1986. Since then our name has changed from BFI to Allied Waste and we are now a Republic Services Company, but our customer service mindset has been ever steady. Our family of customers is growing. We currently serve 12,000 commercial and industrial customers, 14,000 residential subscription customers and 570,000 municipal customers, spanning across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
We work in bulk. We handle more than 18,000 tons of solid waste a month, and we recycle over 2,000 tons a month.
We provide jobs. More than 219 people form the Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island area work for us every day, 89 of them from the city of Fall River alone.
We have a broad focus. Allied Waste Fall River is responsible for waste collection, disposal and recycling for commercial, industrial, municipal and residential customers throughout the Southcoast area.
We know the region. Between commercial, industrial, residentail and recycling we have more than 2,000 routes we run on a monthly basis; we spend a lot of time on the road.
We're part of a big family. Our parent company, Republic Services, Inc., is the second largest waste collection and management company in the United States.
Our services are always evolving. Customers rely on us for disposal, recycling and bulky item collection. We are continually looking for ways to improve the services we provide to you, out customers.
